Late 19th Century Artists Box
This item is an antique Reeves & Sons watercolor paint box from the late 19th Century, labeled "Students' Box of 'Landseer' Water Colours". The mahogany case is in good condition as are the ceramic paint pans, and the central ceramic mixing palette.
The lid contains a printed image labeled "The Illustrated London News" from July 26, 1851.
