Antique Gilded Confectionary Shop Sign

Stunning late Victorian (c.1870/80’s) large Aesthetic Movement 3-panel ebonised and parcel-gilt overmantel mirror. The mirror is decorated with pencil carving and beautiful hand painted birds and floral motifs hallmarks of the aesthetic movement. Mirror has some minor foxing on one panel all commensurate with its age.
 
Whilst there are signs of wear in places these do not detract from the overall look and feel of this wonderful piece. Timeless and understated a real forever piece.
